Hello there. This is the first Fusion artist of the week post. Each week we'll be selecting a different artist to showcase here on our blog. This week's artist is Chrishan. One thing we admire about him is his hard work ethic as and indie artist. He recently released his new video / single "Live In The Sky". His sound definitely has an R&B foundation, but has a crossover Pop feel to it. It's what the music industry needs right now. The US version of his album "Heart of a Lion" will be released next month. Listen and you won't be disappointed!

J-Lie recently released his new music video "Champion".  J-Lie has been one of the best independent artists out for a while now. I actually found out about him through his sister in gym class a few years ago lol.. Been following his career ever since. Here's a little bit more about him.

Being born the son of a South African father and South Korean mother, J-Lie often recalls not fitting in with the crowd. However, after a life changing experience in the middle of his college soccer career he decided to remove himself from the university to pursue his musical career. From the scholarship athlete to entertainer, he has been on a mission to bring back "feel good" music. J-Lie is the essence of hip hop fused with a Cali sense of style. J-Lie’s musical style can be defined as bringing the old along with the new; bridging the gap and changing hip hop forever.

Hello everyone. This is the first Fusion band of the week post. Each week we'll be selecting a different band to showcase here on our blog and possibly join the FSN family! Here's a little bit about our band of the week.

Free The Empire (FTE) formed in a small well known town called Lancaster Pennsylvania. They were quick to jump onto the bandwagon and reunite the formal battle of genre’s in Lancaster. Since the band’s first show at the Championship in Lemoyne, PA, they have been playing shows all over southern PA area. The band has played the widely-known Launch Music Conference in 2010 and plans to play it in 2011. They also plan to release their first EP, “Your Forever Is Only A Week” and release a full length album sometime in 2011.
